Events Project Handler and Organiser

We have a very rare sought after opportunity position available within our company for the right person. The position is based at our newly fitted modern premises in an impressive office environment, however you will also enjoy travelling to site meetings and occasionally working at the events you organise.

About Us:

Party Doctors Group is a one stop shop for all event requirements. We supply, install and plan most events in house and work with a collection of suppliers to deliver events throughout the south east of the UK. We also travel further afield for smaller bookings.

Most of our work is located in Kent, Surrey, London & Essex.

Our main equipment stock includes:

  • A large collection of marquee stock
  • Bars, Bar Equipment & Cellar Equipment
  • Event Furniture & Soft Furnishings
  • AV Equipment, Sound, Light & Visual
  • Décor & Linen
  • Theming Items
  • Temporary Structures

The Position:

We are currently seeking an events sales executive/project handler.

Normal working hours are 8am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday however you may be required to work some evenings including at the weekend. We do operate a time in lieu Rota.

Key Responsibilities

  • Selling and pitching ideas to our clients
  • General equipment hire sales
  • Attending Site Visits
  • Designing events using custom software (training given)
  • Organizing suppliers
  • Ordering required stock
  • Invoicing clients and taking payments
  • Managing and working certain events
  • Implementing design ideas for our events
  • Update social media pages and websites.

Experience / Key Points:

  • Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills
  • Self-Motivated with a positive focused attitude
  • Sales Experience, but not essential
  • Admin or Office Experience
  • Supervisory Experience, but not essential
  • Confident and competent with computers  to include software such as Microsoft Office, Sage, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Team Player

 What you can expect from the position

  • Competitive Salary of £22,500 per annum based on 40 hours a week. Lots of overtime available.
